Filippo Addarii has 15 years’ experience in designing, fundraising for and leading European multi-stakeholder projects for socio-economic development through innovative approaches and stakeholders’ engagement in Europe and internationally. His projects have been funded by the European Commission, British Foreign Office, UN Fund for Democracy, private foundations and corporations.

 Filippo holds several non-executive positions and advisory roles: co-founder and board member of Nethical s.r.l., Italian company leader in digital health; senior research associate of the Global Climate Forum (Berlin); senior advisor to The Research Foundation Flanders, and Fondazione Sanpatrignano (Italy) on impact investment strategy; senior advisor on the international development strategy of Scientific and Technology Park of the United Arab Emirates University; senior fellow of the European Center for Living Technologies (University Ca’ Foscari, Venice), and the think-tank Counterpoint (London); senior associate at Agirre Center for Social and Political Studies (Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain), and Goodwill Ambassador of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund and World NGO Day Initiative. He’s a member of BMW Foundation’s Responsible Leaders Network, and in the international advisory board of Impronta Etica, the CSR association of Emilia Romagna.

He has a degree in Philosophy at University of Bologna, a MSc in non-profit management at the University of Urbino, a Leonardo bursary for research at Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense, and enrolled in executive education courses at Harvard University (Kennedy School of Governance), INSEAD (ISEP) and Cass Business School (Centre for Charity Effectiveness).

He’s a passionate activist in social media and contributor in various news media such as The Guardian, Il Foglio, Milano Finanza, and Vita Third Sector Magazine.
