Michèle Guyot-Roze
Michèle Guyot-Roze holds a Masters degree in Physics and Electronics and spent the majority of her professional career at Electricité de France (EDF), France's public electricity provider. She actively contributed to the IT revolution that took place in the French corporate world. From 1998 to 2006, she played a key role in the design and implementation of the information system for the electricity transmission operator RTE, and then as Director, did the same for the distribution network ERD. These systems were indispensable in responding to the opening-up of national markets, which had been decided upon by the members of the European Union. Since 2001, she has been a board member of the Hippocrene Foundation. In 2006, she took over for her father, Jean Guyot, as President of the Hippocrene Foundation. Since June 2009, she has been a board member of Maison de l'Europe de Paris and Les Amis du Musée National d'Art Moderne and has represented family foundations on the board of the Centre français des fonds et fondations. Michèle Guyot-Roze is a Knight in the National Order of Merit and a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
Ghislaine Hierso
Ghislaine Hierso is an economist and a geographer. She is the President-Founder of SAGES & RESPONSABLES (strategy consulting shareholders and environmental and social governance) responsible for and Cooperator of B&L Evolution SCOP. Ghislaine is also Member of the Conseil National du Numérique (CNNum) and President of “Association Française des Petits Debrouillards (AFPD)”, founded in 1986 with link to Canadian organisation. Les Petits Debrouillards is a non-profit organization, for “Smart Kids” and an educational network which has built pedagogical tools about scientific culture and industrial techniques in relation with the society, national and local authorities.
This organisation develops new educational concepts, and helps understand the sciences without “taboo”. "Les Petits Debrouillards" are the laureate of French “Investissements d’avenir”. Ghislaine HIERSO is Co-President of Alliss (Cooperation platform Research Sciences-Societies). She is Vice-President du Cercle de réflexion et d’actions Valeurs Vertes (think and do Thank). She is also administrator of UVED (Virtual University Environment and Sustainable Development), an administrator of association 4D, (Dossiers de Débats pour le Développement Durable, issues and debates for sustainable development) and the “Confrontations Europe” (a think tank concerned with Europe), member of the “Société d’EconomiePolitique” (French Political Economy Society) and the Bridge Tank . She is the founding member of the legal aid association “Droits d’urgence”. Ghislaine was Vice president in charge of local authorities and European affairs for VEOLIA until the end of 2014. She is Chevalier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur (2012) and Chevalier dans l’Ordre National du Mérite (2001).
